2015-06-27 Venus Jupiter Sunset – Wide Angle
Jupiter and Venus are edging towards a very close conjunction on 1st July.
This second set of images shows that the gap between the two planets had narrowed to just over two degrees from my previous images taken seven days ago, when the gap was 12 degrees.
In the first image above, the pair are located in the deep blue, just right of upper centre.

The closest conjunction will be less than half a degree in three days time, on 1st July.
