Star Trails in Suburbia

My front verandah faces a near Westerly direction and gives me a great view towards the Blue Mountains. Last night it seemed clear, so I set up the camera for star trails. Well, of course, plenty of clouds soon materialised out of nothing but the end result wasn’t too bad, considering all the suburban light pollution.

Total period was about fifty minutes. The brightest star (left) is Sirius (mag -1.46) and the second brightest (centre) is Procyon (mag +0.34).
